The 2026 Global Gender Report reveals that women now hold 30% of executive positions in major corporations worldwide, a milestone reflecting steady progress in gender equality in leadership roles. This marks a 5% increase from 2024, driven by stronger diversity policies and advocacy efforts.

Despite improvements, women remain underrepresented in certain sectors such as technology and finance. Pay disparities also persist, with women earning on average 18% less than their male counterparts at senior levels. Advocacy groups emphasize the need for continued commitment to equitable hiring, mentorship programs, and family-friendly workplace policies.
